“Waiting to Eat the Cherry”

Valerina Quintana, former Human Resources Employee Advisor at the University of Arizona in Tucson, implemented a career and leadership development program for approximately 700 UA employees. She asks: “Why do we put off that which will give us joy?” In this session, Valerina helps us go straight for the cherry and enjoy an hour of play. A discussion will follow on the benefits of play which include increased immunity and energy, bolstered self-esteem, and improved adaptability.
