ruie Mullins
ruie is a jazz vocalist, a fiber artist, writer and published poet. “I began singing at the age of three or four, I’m not really sure, as it was a while back, she says with a broad smile.” But, she remembers being on stage in a Kansas City radio studio standing on a box behind a very large microphone that literally covered her face as she sang “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” to a studio audience. “They gave me a standing ovation, and I knew then that singing was to be my life”.
