Next Baha'i Trial Session is 7 February

The next session of their trial will be held on 7 February 2010

While Iran continues to hide the truth about its nuclear weapons programs according  to US Intelligence as  reported by  Reuters on 20 January, the Iranian government is guilty of attacks against human rights and even more shocking the human rights of  its own citizens.  According to the Baha’i World News Service, Iranian authorities have notified the lawyers of seven imprisoned Baha'i leaders that the next session of their trial will be held on 7 February. At their first court appearance, held 12 January in Tehran, the charges were read to the seven, who categorically denied all accusations.

The charges against those seven Iranian citizen are: espionage, activities against the Islamic regime, establishment of an "illegal administration," cooperation with Israel, sending secret documents outside the country, acting against the security of Iran, and accused of being corrupter on earth. There is not a shred of truth to these accusations... "As the world is watching and paying close attention to this unfair trial, the Iranian government will be held accountable for any injustices", said Diane Ala'i of the Baha'i International Community located in Geneva.
