Despite the Recession
The lady with the words also has a lot of sentiments.
She reaches into her pockets and pulls out many pennies.
Each one lucky!
Each one picked off the street!
Collected for a good wish.
As if an angel had put them there,
to remind her that something good and something nice
must be done for someone today!
Love permeates thoughts,
"Visit an elderly person, sing her a song!"
"Celebrate someone's birthday!"
"Wish each other well for the upcoming New Year."
Most of all, share the love!
Be it in heavenly space or cyber-space
Of all the pennies in the Universe, these mean the most!
Though they may not seem to be worth much
They have added value, cause they are pennies from heaven!
Sent to remind us, to do a good deed.
A charity of many sentiments, all to give away.
Nothing kept for the bank,
But for cherishing those who have a need.
Why say otherwise ?," A penny for your thoughts!"
Good wishes seem to collect at our footsteps.
Each one carries an act, a deed, a rendered service!
It all adds up in the Bank of Virtues,
Awaiting others to be thrifty in this collection.
Be thinking of those you love
But have some thought for others too!
Cause some just seem to have no one
That is truly Bankruptcy!
Despite the Recession
We can bank on love
It never loses its value
and can go far in dividends and actions.
All can afford it!
It comes in generous portions,
Never to be out of stock.
Many are thrown into a fountain!
for only pennies, you can wish good thoughts,
once again with a dear wish concerning a loved one.
A heartbeat strikes a chord,
And as the angels join in the chorus.
A thought of love goes out to the universe,
May all beings rejoice, for haven't you heard the news?
We have won a lottery of good wishes
And there is plenty to go around,
For everyone to share in
Spread it around, cause it is contageous
and catches on fast!
Fortunate consequences: A higher consciousness comes to pass
We are all one! and all this " for Only Pennies!"
Best wishes coming your way.
