Get it? Capiche? Comprendo? Compris?

Those that love
are the ransom for those that do not
Mankind needs its heroes
Though their plight may be very worn and hard to bear
Their trials and tests and ever more difficult
The chosen one are not chosen for nothing.
Their strengths are given so that they may
carry the world in their pockets..
while we write poetry in their honor.

Where do they come from?
From Planet H20  called Earth
In a universe so technically advanced
yet we know not the name of our neighbor.
What purpose is communication
if we don't talk to each other?
Be it on the written page or on internet,
It is all the same sound and light vibration.
This unity of conscience,
This energy luminous
We draw from each other
and now I know why ...
Because this energy called love
is the reason for our creation
some have discovered this
some are still searching
but when all find it, we will all agree
It is part of our make up as human beings
and forms the basis for Humanity
About our Unity in Diversity
It comes in many colors and from many places.
Get it? Capiche? Comprendo? Compris?
I'm trying, porfavor, help me! S'il vous plait.

I love the line: "Those that love are the ransom for those that do not." It reminds me of unrequited love and also loving something that others are blind to. Very beautiful poem.
